I started my Veterinary Nursing career as a trainee in February 1996 and qualified in 1998. I worked in General Practice for almost 20 years, then I gained experience in a Veterinary Referral Hospital before joining the Mulberry team in July 2015. Shortly afterwards, I took on the Head Nurse position for the Mulberry, Henny & Whitehouse Surgeries.
I enjoy all aspects of my job role and am especially passionate about running Nurse clinics, helping clients to give the best care to their pets. I am also a clinical coach and assist our student nurses with their training and practical skills.
I am married and have two teenage children. We have two dogs: ‘Fingal’, a 5-year-old Chocolate Labrador and ‘Fergus’, a 9-year-old Jack Russell terrier, plus three rescue cats. I like to spend my spare time with my family, we enjoy dog walks in the county side. My hobbies include Pilates classes and baking cakes.
